My name is Sisipho Ntsabo. I am a digital communications, PR and media strategist based in Cape Town, working at the intersection of media, development and policy-adjacent spaces.
My work is grounded in a simple but deliberate purpose: not only to shape narratives, but to archive and position stories in ways that influence institutions and communities over time. I design communication strategies that bridge stakeholders and the communities they serve, aligning institutional objectives with lived realities. My practice centres on narrative framing, stakeholder consultation, and multi-channel digital strategy within youth development, skills training and broader socio-economic contexts.
My approach is threefold: human-centred, community-rooted and sustainability-driven. Beyond translating complex policy or data into accessible content, I focus on strategic positioning: contextualising regional realities, drawing on communal knowledge systems, and building communication ecosystems that enable long-term impact.
Over the past few years, my work has spanned community broadcasting and media production, editorial leadership, and internal corporate communications into development-focused communications. I have led a pan-African digital media platform managing a contributor network of over 80 writers across 30 African countries, overseeing the production of 10 digital magazine issues. I currently contribute to a government youth skills development programme, working at the interface between unemployed graduates and the labour market.
I am drawn to roles where communications functions as a strategic bridge, shaping campaigns, programmes and institutional narratives that drive sustained social and economic inclusion.
